The club have an informal meeting on first Monday of each month at 7.00 - 9.00 pm in Calderwood Community Hall on Blackbraes Road, East Kilbride. The monthly meetings give an opportunity to meet other club members, discuss events, club runs, training, racing etc, and are a good opportunity for new members to be introduced into the club. There are a number of club runs, catering for all levels of fitness.
There is a leisurely paced group that leaves at 9.30 am on Saturday mornings from the layby at the entrance to Calderglen Park. This is mainly a social ride with distance decided on the day, and there is usually a café stop as well! Click here for a map.

There are a number of EKRC members riding most Saturdays with the long established EK bunch, who meet at 10.00 am at Calderglen layby throughout the year for 50-60 mile ride. This is a faster paced bunch, which a lot of the club riders use for training. Click here for details of the route.

The club have also started a Wednesday evening run on the quiet roads/ lanes near Auldhouse. The pace is steady and that of the slowest rider, with the aim of introducing newcomers to cycling. The run leaves at 6.30 from Morrison’s car park on Greenhills Rd.
